Come and join our friendly group! We meet every six to eight weeks (hui is organised to suit everyone's availability) on an evening in Motueka, usually around 7.30 pm for about an hour or an hour and a half). The Kai Rescue Kia Collection Support doesn't drive but supports the driver for collecting, inspecting, loading and delivering perishable and nonperishable product from donors and delivering the food to the Kai Rescue depot. We are looking for someone who has flexibility across the week to relieve our regular volunteers when they are unavailable. The role is quite physical, to would suit people who have a reasonable level of fitness and no injuries.

He aha te tūranga - About the role: Our Op Shop teams do fantastic work in the community selling affordable pre-loved goods, and this helps to fund our essential, lifesaving services and community initiatives. They have created friendly, supportive community hubs, offering much-needed local services and even help New Zealand to be more environmentally sustainable - more recycling means less landfill!
