The Kai Rescue Kia Collection Support doesn't drive but supports the driver for collecting, inspecting, loading and delivering perishable and nonperishable product from donors and delivering the food to the Kai Rescue depot and/or partner agencies as determined by the Centre Manager.
As part of our Zero Waste journey, we have enlisted contractors to audit our festival waste and redirect recycled and food waste from landfill. By volunteering as a Waste Warrior, you will be working alongside Res.Awesome to play a key part in reducing the festival's waste and move towards a zero waste future.
We are an all-volunteer group seeking help to maintain and expand a pest-controlled 250 hectare area around the Pā Kererū walk in a beautiful area of regenerating bush in the Kaimai Mamaku Conservation Park at the end of Whakamārama Road, just northwest of Tauranga.
