The customer service role helps support people with hearing loss to improve their quality of life by providing a friendly reception service and helping to maintain our administration record management systems. We need several volunteers to ensure we can provide more relief customer support and flexibility for the team. It can be a busy role at times, and you would be working within a supportive environment of administrators and hearing specialists, performing a variety of interesting tasks.

The Whakatu Riding for the Disabled Group (WRDA) is situated in the beautiful Brook Valley close to Nelson City. We provide goal based horse riding activities, that increase the abilities, strength and confidence of people with various challenges. Our focus is to make a positive difference and our vision is to reach more riders and to change more lives. We have two qualified coaches and rely on a team of valued volunteers to support our riders.

The Kai Rescue Kia Collection Support doesn't drive but supports the driver for collecting, inspecting, loading and delivering perishable and nonperishable product from donors and delivering the food to the Kai Rescue depot. We are looking for someone who has flexibility across the week to relieve our regular volunteers when they are unavailable. The role is quite physical, to would suit people who have a reasonable level of fitness and no injuries.

Kia Ora we are Perinatal Support Nelson, a small NFP working in the Nelson Tasman region providing free counselling for wahine/women with infants, or whom are pregnant/hapu, and who are struggling with emotional distress (previously known as Postnatal Depression). We are looking for a volunteer with either previous governance, or chairperson, experience to join our Board of Trustees, with a view to transitioning into the chairperson role.
