Mermascs is a social sea swimming and beach trip group. Mermasc meetups encourage social interaction, community-building, and body-confidence whilst connecting with wai and taiao. It’s more about spending time in the water than it is about swimming laps. It’s open to all people, with a focus on queer people and all communities that are typically excluded from mainstream fitness spaces. This role will assist Radiqal Movement in the organisation and delivery of the Mermascs group and activities.
Dykes and Hikes is a queer-affirming, body-liberating walking group that welcomes people of all fitness levels and walking/running experiences to enjoy movement together. The group welcomes all people, with a focus on queer people and communities that are typically excluded from mainstream fitness spaces. This role will assist Radiqal Movement in the organisation and delivery of the Dykes and Hikes group and activities.
