Join our team at Alzheimers Tauranga as a volunteer facilitator, supporting engaging group activities for people with dementia. Help provide socialisation, cognitive stimulation, and much-needed respite for carers in a supportive and rewarding environment. This role would be beginning in Feb 2025

The Day Programme Volunteers assist our friendly staff. They are an important part of the team and are very much appreciated. The clients attending the programme are provided with a day of activities, morning and afternoon teas and lunch. If you like to and would enjoy this type of environment, please apply.

Van Assistants travel in the van and assist the Van Driver to pick up and drop off the clients to and from the Totara Day Programme in Rangiora. Our vans have hoists for the clients to enter and exit the vans. Your role is to assist the clients on and off the van. No driving is required. No experience necessary.
