The lunches we offer is an important part of the wellbeing of our older clients, and we are looking for someone who can pick up the lunches from our local supermarket and bring it to our day programme. Our volunteers are vital to the work we do at Presbyterian Support. In fact, we couldn't do it without them!

This position is central to facilitating access to the hospital by driving the Shuttle Buggy and offering friendly and courteous transport for patients and visitors between the car park and the entrances. We need flexible, skilled, physically fit volunteers who have an ability to use initiative to meet the needs of patients and visitors safely. We operate morning and afternoon shifts of 4 hours on a monthly roster, so you can volunteer as little or as often as you like.

Separate from volunteering inside the Sanctuary fence, there is always a need for 'backyard bird monitors'. As birds thrive within the relative safety of the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary, we anticipate some will spill into the surrounding areas of Nelson, Stoke and Richmond. Garden surveys can provide useful evidence of a halo effect around the sanctuary.
