    We are a youth-based organisation, that believes in young people supporting young people. We work alongside youth with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, focusing on outdoor adventure based programmes. We work with over 200 youth in Auckland, Christchurch, the Waikato and BoP regions offering 170 various programmes per year. We are a small NGO and require all the volunteer support we can get to operate well, so we highly value the input that volunteers offer us here at Recreate.

The aim of CST is to get people's minds active and engaged in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. We need co-facilitators to help the trained Facilitator run these sessions.You will be helping and encouraging the person with Dementia to participate in the stimulating activities in a non judgemental and inclusive social environment .
