VOLUNTEER DENTIST CALL – TEOUMA VALLEY, VANUATU

The Family Care Centre (FCC), a ministry of Marine Reach / YWAM Vanuatu, is looking for qualified, registered Dentists for short or long-term voluntary service at our mission base in Teouma Valley (located just 20 minutes from Port Vila).

 

In Vanuatu, there is only about one dentist per 35,000 people. Our static, fully resourced clinic bridges this gap for vulnerable surrounding communities by providing essential treatments.

 

The Role & Environment:

• Clinical Focus: Treat patients via cleanings, fillings, extractions, and basic front-tooth root canals.
• Community & Ministry: Serve alongside a passionate team of local and international staff running medical clinics, community development, and youth ministries.
• On-Site Accommodation: The FCC campus features designated volunteer and team accommodation.

Requirements:

• Recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS/DDS) or equivalent.
• Active, unhindered dental licensure in your home country.
• A heart for Christian missions, community discipleship, and humanitarian aid.
• Flights, meals, accomodation WIFI and AC are the responsibility of the volunteer. The costs are US$30 per day or US$376 for one month.
