Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across New Zealand. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. St Chads supports adults with disabilities to gain greater independence, learn and maintain valuable life skills, improve their health and well-being, interact meaningfully with other members of the community and do everyday things in everyday places. St Chads Lifeskills learning hub is based in Rotorua. We are on the search for new members to join our Board of Trustees to provide support and advice for the best interests of our organisation, tāngata whaikaha/ clients and staff.

Our members are looking for volunteers to help at workdays both in and out of the forest, oceans & rivers. Duties can include, but not limited to, line clearing, making and preparing box traps, maintaining a stoat line, administration, marketing, species monitoring, planting days, habitat monitoring, advocacy, events, education, rubbish clean-up days, etc...
Many people living with dementia and their carers experience social isolation and loneliness. The chance to chat with someone outside their household can make a huge difference.
