We will provide you with training and connect you to someone who is isolated in the community, so with your support they can develop a sense connection, reducing the likelihood of them self-harming. You will make a significant difference to someone's life.
We are seeking kind, caring individuals in Central Auckland, and surrounding suburbs, and East Auckland, to work with new parents who are needing extra support. Duties may include helping families with practical day-to-day tasks, offering emotional support, modelling positive parenting and facilitating positive change as well as linking families with community activities and services. Support new parents at a challenging time so they can give their children the best start in life.

We would love to have new volunteers join our Outreach team and help us to make a significant difference in the quality of life of someone impacted by chronic illness. No skills or experience required; commitment is flexible but an average of 1 hour/week is usually expected. This role can be carried out across Canterbury and the West Coast, depending on client demand.
