Van Assistants travel in the van and assist the Van Driver to pick up and drop off the clients to and from the Totara Day Programme in Rangiora. Our vans have hoists for the clients to enter and exit the vans. Your role is to assist the clients on and off the van. No experience required.

Presbyterian Support have Day Programmes for older people operating in Christchurch, Monday to Friday. The programmes require Van Assistants. The Van Assistant's role is to travel with the Van Driver and transport the clients to and from the Day Programme.

The group meet for different activities - from bowling to art to restaurants.
