The Kai Rescue Kia Collection Support doesn't drive but supports the driver for collecting, inspecting, loading and delivering perishable and nonperishable product from donors and delivering the food to the Kai Rescue depot and/or partner agencies as determined by the Centre Manager.

Our members are looking for volunteers to help at workdays both in and out of the forest, oceans & rivers. Duties can include, but not limited to, line clearing, making and preparing box traps, maintaining a stoat line, administration, marketing, species monitoring, planting days, habitat monitoring, advocacy, events, education, rubbish clean-up days, etc...

This voluntary role is where you’ll get to bring your knowledge and team spirit to a talented and motivated group whose primary focus is to protect kiwi on the Coromandel’s Kūaotunu Peninsula.
