Are you interested in preserving our taonga (treasure) of native species for generations to come?

Our members are looking for volunteers to help at workdays both in and out of the forest, oceans & rivers. Duties can include, but not limited to, line clearing, making and preparing box traps, maintaining a stoat line, administration, marketing, species monitoring, planting days, habitat monitoring, advocacy, events, education, rubbish clean-up days, etc...

You will need to be prepared with good strong footwear, a hi-viz vest, snacks, water, and a personal first aid kit (including antihistamines if required).

Different member groups operate workdays on different days. Please contact us with your volunteer aspirations, availability, and location for more information, or alternatively please fill out the application form and we will get in touch with you.

New volunteers will be teamed up with experienced volunteers.
