Upper Hutt Repair Café Trust are looking for new trustees to expand their board and help grow this emerging charity. Our purpose is to divert fixable items from landfill by providing access to repair education in the community, which we currently achieve through running regular Repair Cafés in Upper Hutt.

You will have an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, great communication skills and a proactive and collaborative mindset.

We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds, ages and from all sectors of the community. Previous governance experience is not essential, and volunteer experience will be considered an asset. If you are enthusiastic about what we do and feel you have a lot to offer, regardless of prior experience, we encourage you to apply.
