The Kaikoura St John team is looking for people from all walks of life to join their dedicated team of volunteers. In return for your service, St John will provide you with NZQA recognised qualifications and an amazing opportunity to serve your community.
Our Ambulance volunteers provide care and support to our patients through their journey which may start at a 111 call and end either being referred to another health care provider, treated on scene, or transported to a medical facility. You will be patrolling your local area assisting us to help keep your Neighbourhood a safer place to live and work. You will be in fully sign written patrol vehicles and a uniform is supplied.

If clinical progression is not for you, why not consider a non-clinical role in the Major Incident Support Teams (MIST). MIST work is challenging and varied and includes responding as part of a larger team with a strong inclusive culture that members find extremely rewarding.
