Christchurch South Community Gardens Trust managed by Volunteering Canterbury
Attend and participate in a minimum of eight Board of Trustee general & planning meetings a year.
Help out at market days and other fund raising activities.
Volunteer on the ground as able e.g. in the garden, pickling and preserving, building, R&M. We are an independent charitable trust operating in the Christchurch South area since 1999. Our goal is to contribute to neighbourhood sustainability in a meaningful way and to share our skills and resources with local communities.
There are a number of practices that are either planned or in place to drive improvement at the Christchurch South Community Gardens: including: seasonal market days; crop production; community workshops; local sustainability group.
