Do you want to make a positive difference to a young person? Do you have a spare 2-3 hours every fortnight to help a young Buddy in your community, enjoying low and no-cost activities? We have a waitlist of young Buddies, looking for an adult to spend some time with, particularly male Buddies. We also have young people in the Mosgiel/Taieri area so if you live there, our Buddy Coordinators would love to hear from you. Dunedin / Mosgiel / Oamaru, Waitaki / Clutha / Central Otago / Wanaka.

Volunteers provide regular, ongoing contact and good company for people living alone, one hour a week or two hours a fortnight. Volunteer visitors often providing a link to the community for those who are confined to their house. Social engagement and meaningful activity are essential to a healthy, happy life, no matter what your age is.
Love driving, conversation and interacting with older people? Volunteer drivers are urgently needed to transport people over the age of 65 to and from their Dunedin homes to Club Enliven in Moray Place. Option to use your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed) or use a Club Enliven car or van.
