Letters to Strangers (L2S) is a global youth-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit seeking to destigmatize mental illness and increase access to affordable, quality treatment for youth aged 13 to 24*. We are looking for ambitious high school/gap year students who are passionate about advocating for mental health and are excellent at handling social media advertisements and maintenance.
We are actively seeking volunteers in communities all over the country to support the growing awareness of our organisation around the motu. Our mission is raising funds to support research leading to therapies for Parkinson's to stop/slow progression, but we need help to get flyers and newsletters out into the community.
We will provide you with training and connect you to someone who is isolated in the community, so with your support they can develop a sense connection, reducing the likelihood of them self-harming. You will make a significant difference to someone's life.
