Administrator opportunity for a charitable spiritual organisation

Key Duties As our Volunteer Administrator, you will work closely with the Centre Director supporting the day-to-day running of Mahamudra Centre. Your key duties will include:

Uploading new courses and retreats to our Wix website Creating and distributing our newsletter Responding to emails from retreatants and managing enquiries Organising and managing future bookings for the Centre Creating adverts and graphics using Canva Database management and creating procedures Marketing content for social media Zoom administration and support

Skills and Experience We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, kind and a good communicator. You will need a working knowledge of general computer and admin skills. Experience with Wix, Canva, Zoom, or newsletter platforms would be wonderful, though a willingness to learn is just as welcome. A Buddhist, spiritual, or mindfulness-aligned background is a big plus — or simply an appreciation for what we do and the people we serve. About Mahamudra Centre Mahamudra Centre for Universal Unity is a Tibetan Buddhist retreat centre nestled on 8 acres of beautiful native bush in the Colville Valley, Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand. We are a charitable trust affiliated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) — a global network of over 150 centres worldwide. We offer international Dharma teachings, group retreats, and individual solitary retreats, providing a place of profound healing, spiritual development and personal growth.
