YSAR is a youth development organisation dedicated to fostering the next generation of community volunteers within the Search and Rescue (SAR) and Emergency Management (EM) sectors. We deliver a three-year training programme to secondary school aged students. Our training takes place on Wednesday evenings during Terms 1 - 3 of the school year. To put into practice learnings, we run six six practical weekend exercises, culminating in a five-day end of year exercise.
