Volunteer as a CAB interviewer and make a real difference in your community! You’ll help people understand their options on issues like housing, employment, consumer rights, and family matters, while increasing your own knowledge of your community and New Zealand law. Work in a supportive, friendly environment, develop valuable skills, and be part of a team that empowers people to make informed decisions.

Effective CAB workers must:
• be able to relate to a wide range of people,
• listen well and ask questions
• be able to identify key facts to understand the issues
• use a computer to research options, record queries and help clints filling online forms
• communicate well with clients and colleagues
• work as part of a team within a national framework of policies
• be prepared to continue learning
