Community Hall Star Wanted – Volunteer – Social Media Support Role type: 100% volunteer role
Are you community-minded, practical, friendly, and keen to make a real difference locally? Pyes Pa Hall is looking for members to join our small, dedicated team and help keep this much-loved community space running smoothly.
About the role This is a volunteer role for someone who enjoys either in person or working remotely and helping organising and running community events as part of a small team. You will be part of a friendly committee of four people who work together to manage the hall and run small community events.
What you’ll help with
- Helping organise and run community hall events
- Being an active member of a small, supportive committee
- Creating posts for Facebook
- Creating posts for Instagram
- Creating posts for LinkedIn
We’re looking for someone who
- Enjoys helping people and contributing to the local community
- Is reliable, organised, and willing to be actively involved
- Has good communication and people skills
- Is comfortable following up tasks and working with others
- Is a whiz on social media platforms especially Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Knows how to use AI tools
Helpful but not essential
- Living in or close to Pyes Pa Hall
- Being available during the day from time to time
- Having experience with events and social media campaigns
- Website management
