Content Creation Course for Social Media (Māori Exclusive Cohort)
Launch your Career in Photography, Videography and Content Creation
We are looking for 8 creative rangatahi Māori (18-24yrs) to join our next Content Creation programme, starting on the 23rd of July, 2026.
The programme runs on Thursdays and Fridays 10am - 3.30pm at Crescendo Studio in Henderson.
During this 10-week course, you will:
- Get hands on with industry quality laptops, cameras, software and equipment
- Learn how to create different content for different social media platforms
- Level up your photography, videography, graphic design and editing skills
- Learn how to setup for, record and edit a podcast episode
- Storyboard, plan and shoot a longform creative video
- Receive mentoring from industry professionals
- Have the opportunity to work on real client briefs
- Create work (individually as as a team) to include in your portfolio
- Learn in a supportive, kaupapa Māori environment
Who We're Looking For:
- 8 rangatahi Māori (aged 18–24) who Whakapapa Māori.
- Have some experience using software like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Divinci or similar.
- Have experience making content for social media
- Ready to step into real-world creative work
- Open to reflection and working in a kaupapa Māori space

About Crescendo
Crescendo Studio specialises in audio, music, content and podcasting services for local and international productions. Crescendo is a social enterprise, and all proceeds from the studio help to fund free mentoring programmes in audio, music and content for youth.
