About the role

We are seeking volunteer Board Members / General Officers to help guide Youthline Wellington’s governance, strategic direction, long-term sustainability and community impact. This is a governance role, not a day-to-day management role. Board members contribute to collective decision-making, support strong organisational stewardship, and act as ambassadors for Youthline Wellington’s kaupapa. ** We are looking for people who bring: **

Commitment to youth wellbeing and Youthline Wellington’s values

Good judgement, integrity and a collaborative approach

Strategic thinking and willingness to contribute to sound governance

Relevant skills, lived experience, community insight or professional expertise

Respect for diversity, confidentiality and appropriate boundaries

**Time commitment ** The expected commitment is generally up to 10 hours per month, including board and committee meetings, preparation, events and contribution to the board work programme.
