Join our Nelson Branch as a Branch President!

We are seeking a volunteer Branch President for our Nelson Branch to help deliver humanitarian impact in your community. You'll lead, support, and represent a wonderful pool of around 100 Red Cross members and volunteers in Nelson.

Role Description

When you join with us as a member, you can be involved in/be a part of:

• Supporting events and community programmes;
• Helping to create awareness in the community of Red Cross engagement on: disaster readiness and response, fundraising for NZRC activities and support for international programmes
• Ensure all branch activities and programmes operate in alignment within the strategic priorities of New Zealand Red Cross
• The opportunity to contribute your unique skills and to develop new ones, to gain experience and meet new people

Your Tasks

We are looking for a President to lead the Nelson Branch

Volunteer Requirements

• Please submit your CV and cover letter outlining your past or current experience as well as completing the online application.
• A Nelson resident with leadership experience is preferred
• 18+ years old
• A good communicator
• Able to commit to your team for at least 12 months
• Able to pass New Zealand MOJ Check (support Services Child/youth)
• Able to provide 2 referees for character check
