Mahamudra Centre for Universal Unity is a Tibetan Buddhist retreat centre nestled on 8 acres of serene, native bush-surrounded land in the beautiful Colville Valley on the Coromandel Peninsula. As part of the global FPMT network — with over 150 centres worldwide — we offer a sanctuary where people can come to learn about the nature of their mind, cultivate inner peace, and progress along the path toward enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. Through authentic Dharma teachings delivered by international teachers, guided group retreats, and private solitary retreats in our self-contained cabins, we provide a genuinely transformative environment for spiritual growth and deep healing.
At heart, Mahamudra Centre is a place where mindfulness, wisdom, and compassion are nurtured at every level — from those taking their very first steps in meditation to dedicated practitioners undertaking serious study.
