Youth Group Leaders: Support our youth groups in Invercargill - GirlGuiding NZ

GirlGuiding is all about empowering young people to develop confidence, leadership, and life skills. That means heading outdoors, adventuring locally, learning new things, and having fun by getting stuck in.
We're looking for volunteer leaders in the community to support young people through weekly meetings, planning, and occasional camps.
No experience needed. You don't need any Guiding experience to start. Full training and support is provided.
What you'll do:
- Run weekly meetings during school terms alongside other leaders
- Plan activities and games with your team
- Encourage young people to try new things and build their confidence
- Come along to the occasional weekend event or camp
What we're looking for:
- Someone hands-on, enthusiastic, and patient
- A willingness to learn as you go

About GirlGuiding Sections
GirlGuiding NZ offers a variety of sections to support young people at different stages of development:
- Pippins: 5 to 6 years
- Brownies: 7 to 9.5 years
- Guides: 9.5 to 12.5 years
- Rangers: 12.5 to 17 years
