Step into a rewarding role supporting rescued cats and kittens at CARE Trust’s Taupō Cattery!

We're looking for reliable, cat-loving individuals aged 18+ who can commit to a weekly shift (approx. 2 hours) to help with the smooth running of our busy cattery. You'll play a hands-on role in supporting our animals' health, wellbeing, and comfort.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Cleaning feline display pods to keep environments safe and hygienic

Administering medications occasionally (with clear guidance)

Observing and reporting any unusual behaviours or health concerns

Following our cattery procedures with precision and care

Traits & Skills

Physically fit and confident around cats

Team player with good communication

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Calm and compassionate nature

Purpose & Impact Your time directly improves the lives of cats and kittens in need, helping them stay healthy, feel loved, and get one step closer to finding a forever home.

Time Commitment One fixed weekly shift of approx. 2 hours (varies based on animal intake). Ongoing commitment preferred to ensure consistency for our animals.
