Are you someone who loves art, fashion, or discovering quality gems in donated goods? This is your chance to lead with heart and help our Regions only No-Kill Animal Rescue!

At the CARE Op Shop, we’re looking for cheerful, hands-on volunteers to take the lead in managing a section of our shop i.e shoes and bags. You’ll become a key part of the team by helping evaluate, sort, and price donations, all while supporting a cause that saves animals lives.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Sort and organise donated items for your selected section

Assess the quality and condition of items

Price goods for sale with guidance from the team manager

Assist with customer service and shop presentation

Learn on the job about retail, inventory and valuation

Skills & Traits:

A good eye for quality and attention to detail

Enthusiastic, community-minded, and positive

Comfortable working independently or in a small team

Purpose & Impact: Your attention to detail helps ensure our shop is inviting, high-quality, and profitable, directly supporting the rescue and care of animals in need.

Time Commitment: Flexible shifts - just 2 - 3 hours once a week on any day(s) of your choice. Whether it’s once a week or a few times a week, we’ll work around your schedule.
