COMMUNITY PATROLLER (TURANGI)
Safe Turangi supported by Volunteer Great Lake Taupō

Community patrollers are volunteers who work with police to enhance community safety. They act as the 'eyes and ears' of the police, observing and reporting suspicious activity and potential safety hazards. Patrollers work in pairs, often in marked vehicles and are trained to identify and report incidents while also providing assistance in non-emergency situations.
