The Rural Youth and Adult Literacy Trust (RYALT) is seeking a dedicated volunteer literacy coach in Kerikeri to provide valuable support to an adult student in need. As a Literacy Coach, you have the opportunity to give back and make a real difference in someone's life. It's a fulfilling and enjoyable role that allows you to share your love for learning while empowering others to reach their full potential.
What we're looking for:
We welcome individuals with or without teaching experience, as we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support. Your enthusiasm, patience, and commitment are what matter most. 1-2 hours per week

You will work together with the Student Coach Coordinator to develop goals and select materials and activities to help learners reach their goals. This role is very important, and by doing it, you can change an adult or teenager learners' lives and that of their family.
