Breast Cancer Support Tauranga Trust will once again be hosting approximately 3-4,000 people on Wednesday 9th October for a fun and colourful walk around the streets of the Tauranga CBD. Walkers meet on the waterfront reserve on The Strand for the build up and warm up before starting off on the approx 5 km circuit around the streets of the CBD. This a favourite event for many and one we have held for over 20 years.

We are seeking approximately 50 volunteers to assist on the night with various roles including:

• marshalling
• setting up marques and stages
• donation collectors
• merchandise sales
• pink pooch parade organisers
• safety control etc

Mostly you will be sitting or standing, depending on your role. This means you need to wear/bring some warm clothes, comfortable shoes and have rainwear if the forecast is variable.

We have a robust health and safety plan which must be adhered to and we are assisted on the night by several groups and organisations including Aegis Security and Fulton Hogan .
