Advocates Needed

Free Public Advocacy Service supported by Volunteering Services (BOP)

Free Public Advocacy Service (FPAS) is a community based charity, primarily established with an aim of assisting and supporting people in our community.

As an Advocate, some of your responsibilities would include:

  • to assist members of the public to resolve an issue, big or small,
  • to help clients become aware of their rights and best interests,
  • being available to sit at a clinic desk for approximately 2 hours a week,
  • doing paperwork for your clients in your own time with help from other advocates when necessary.

*You will not be required to run a clinic by yourself. You will be accompanied.

  • to acquaint yourself with organisations we are likely to be dealing with.
