Bellyful is a national not for profit charity with 25 branches spread from the Hibiscus Coast in Auckland to Invercargill. Bellyful nourishes and connects communities by cooking and delivering free meals to families, with babies or young children, that need support. Branches get together at a Cookathon approximately once a month to cook meals which are then frozen ready to distribute to families. Referrals for meals are received from health professionals, friends & family and from the family themselves.

The Branch Coordinator role is a volunteer position. Our Branch Coordinators work from home at times that suit their work and whanau commitments.

Bellyful Tauranga's current Branch Coordinator is responsible for all the administrative parts of the role but we are looking for a Co-Branch Coordinator to be the public face for the branch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Leading, managing & encouraging volunteers in the branch. -Ensuring all aspects of the branch are running smoothly. -Running regular branch meetings -Community awareness and relationship building -Planning and running fundraising events -Working with local businesses to gain or maintain sponsorship of the branch. -Liaising with and reporting to Bellyful NZ management as necessary.

KEY REQUIREMENTS: -Passion for Bellyful’s aims and mission -Good communication & organisation skills -Basic computer skills -Access to a computer or laptop -Access to the internet -Confident and outgoing
