Organisation description Pregnancy Help Inc (CC51116) is a registered charity providing free, practical support to anyone caring for tamariki/pepi in Aotearoa. Te tautoko me te tohutohu awhina mo te matuatanga. We have seven branches across Aotearoa and have absolutely no referral criteria, this means our services are available to everyone. The Taupō Branch is located at the Wai Hina hub, 67 Heu Heu Street, Taupō . Beth Feltham is our Branch Coordinator. The Taupō Branch board work together to govern the operations of the Taupō Branch, to support and ensure the operations of the service and meeting the needs of our local community. The Taupō Branch and board is supported by the Pregnancy Help National Executive Board, and a National Coordinator.

Skills/competencies We are currently seeking volunteer committee members with financial acumen and governance experience (particularly in a not-for-profit organisation), expressions of interest for a Deputy Board president, committee members with the following skill sets are desirable: legal, finical, social media and creative connection. However more importantly we are seeking individuals who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of whānau in Taupō, Turangi and their community.

Commitment required Board meetings are held monthly for approximately 1-2 hours and may be held in person at the Taupō Branch or sometimes remotely via Zoom. Additional meetings and time may be required outside of Board meetings. You should expect a total commitment of approximately 5 hours per month.
