Can you help us to help our, often senior, members with learning how to use their digital technology to improve their lives? This technology includes smartphones, tablets and computers - of all types. We help people in a one-on-one session, a group workshop, or a class. As long as you are comfortable with using some of these digital technologies and are patient and happy to help people, you will enjoy this opportunity.

We would be happy with any assistance in this area. Anything from assisting our existing 'tutors', to running a class. Anything from an hour or two here and there to as much time as you want to spare (we usually operate on one day a week). It doesn't require highly technical skills, just the ability to provide answers and solutions with patience and a smile.

Helping our seniors to participate in this new digital world makes a great difference in their lives. You don't have to be a rocket scientist - just someone who is comfortable using some of these technologies and is happy to help people master them.

Most of our work involves attending a 'physical session here in the Manawatū. If you are not in the Manawatū, you could look at contacting a SeniorNet Centre in your location. Check out the following link for locations seniornet.nz/locations/all-locations/

It would be great if you can join SeniorNet and help us.
