Lake Taupo Hospice

Hospice is not just a building; it’s a philosophy of care. We care for the whole person, not just their physical needs but also their emotional, spiritual, and social needs too. We care for families and friends as well, both before and after a death. At Lake Taupo Hospice our goal is to help people make the most of the time they have left and to enable them to live each moment. Our patients can access, the day-stay activities program, borrow hospital equipment, use our library, have their biography written, have a hospice visitor, use our Family Support team. We assist families to manage any practical details that may be involved in caring for a loved one who is dying.
