At Coastguard Tautiaki Moana, our mission is clear: to ensure that every Kiwi enjoys their time on the water safely and with confidence. Our dedicated whānau of 2,000+ volunteers worked tirelessly last year to bring over 6,000 New Zealanders back to dry land, from Houhora to Bluff. You’ll find our volunteers and staff on the water, in the sky, behind the radios, at our Units and in our offices, putting in the mahi every day to fulfil our mission.
