Tauranga Volunteer Coastguard is based at the beautiful Sulphur Point and is the first port of call for any incident taking place on the water or trip reports completed by our local Boating public enjoying Tauranga Harbour. We also deal with any public enquiries, do weather forecasting and shipping movements. We are a not for profit and rely on our wonderful team of 60+ volunteers who are Radio Operators, Crew and Duty Officers. We have 2 vessels that are tasked to complete any incidents at any time by our Duty Officers.
