GBB is a network of 3000 volunteers across Aotearoa who spread kindness through the mechanism of home baking. Our volunteers bake treats in their own kitchens which are given to organisations working with people having a tough time – currently we have relationships with 300 organisations working with people accessing services such as neonatal intensive care, hospices, homeless and domestic violence shelters, mental health support, and many others. We were established in 2015 and have grown steadily since, and now we are beginning to develop programmes that will take our mission, to make Aotearoa the kindest place on earth, beyond baking.
