May 13-19 is Hospice Awareness Week (HAWK) 2024! HAWK is an opportunity for communities to better understand how local hospices can help patients and their families ‘live every moment’. This year as part of HAWK we are running a community appeal with the help of our volunteers and local businesses. Can you help?
Big Brothers Big Sisters Wellington is a youth mentoring programme to enhance the quality of life in children aged 6 to 12 years old by providing a mentor to those who have adverse childhood experiences. This helps to develop a relationship that leads to a positive, long-lasting impact in their lives. We help them to identify their own potential and to build their confidence, we do this by creating one on one, long term relationships. We are looking for male mentors.
