Our Pukekohe Pippins need a fun and nurturing leader to run their unit! They meet: Wednesday's 15:45-16:45. Pukekohe Scout and Guide Hall, 2 Edinburgh Street, Pukekohe 2102 They are looking for fun, energetic leaders that will deliver their exciting programmes to them during their unit meetings once a week. Unit meetings run for up to 2 hours once a week on a weeknight during the school term, with opportunities for other planned activities on the occasional weekend. You will also be given free leadership training and the opportunity to undertake further training if you wish.

As a leader, you will -

• Enjoy spending time with children ages 5 - 6 (Pippins)
• Be encouraging, assertive when need be as well as patient
• Love being part of the fun and making fun for the children
• Include the children in the planning of activities
• Build lasting relationships with the children, their families, and the other leaders and volunteers
• Be open to learn and develop yourself
• Love meeting new people and making new friends and connections *Be keen to have fun and provide as well as have a positive experience with the children
