We are looking for cheerful volunteers with a ‘can do’ attitude, and a desire to give great customer service. You will be required to assist with the display of goods in the store, sorting donations, serving customers and offering a friendly welcome to all our visitors to the store. We recieve wonderful donations, clothing, household items, bric-a-brac, etc. If you like to create order amongst chaos this is an ideal role for you.

We are always looking for volunteers that bring their varying interests and knowledge. It may be upcycling, craft or a love for fashion or antiques. All of these skills are of great value to us and can assist in increasing our sales.

Hospice West Auckland provide palliative care services to terminally ill patients in West Auckland. Much of the funding for these services come from our seven retail stores so your contribution is greatly valued...westies helping westies!

Requirements: You will need to be fit and healthy and happy to be on your feet throughout your shift. You will need have to have a good level of English to ensure you can operate safely in the and assist our customers.

Time commitment: Roles are varied and interesting, with 4 hour shifts available Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm. Six-month commitment expected.
