A warm, home-cooked meal can make a real difference to someone staying at hospice. We are looking for caring and reliable volunteers to help prepare and serve simple evening meals for patients during the week.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking, is comfortable in a healthcare environment, and wants to make a meaningful contribution to the wellbeing of our patients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing simple evening meals for patients
  • Following food safety and hygiene practices
  • Serving meals and assisting with meal preparation areas
  • Working alongside hospice staff

We're Looking For Someone Who:

🍲 Enjoys cooking and preparing simple meals

🤝 Is comfortable working in a patient-care environment

💚 Has a warm, compassionate, and respectful manner

✅ Is reliable and able to commit to a regular weekday evening shift

🧼 Understands the importance of food safety and hygiene
