Te Omanga Hospice is seeking a dedicated gardening volunteer to help care for and enhance our gardens. Our outdoor spaces provide a place of peace, reflection, and comfort for patients, families, volunteers, and staff, and your contribution will help keep them looking their best year-round.
What You'll Be Doing
- Detailed weeding and garden maintenance
- Identifying and caring for a variety of plants
- Pruning, deadheading, and general plant care
- Assisting with seasonal planting and garden improvements
- Helping maintain welcoming and attractive outdoor spaces
We're Looking For Someone Who:
🌿 Has a good knowledge of plants and gardening practices
🌿 Enjoys detailed gardening work and takes pride in a job well done
🌿 Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
🌿 Can work independently and use initiative
🌿 Is reliable and able to commit to regular volunteer hours
