Lark in the Park - Event Volunteers

Victory Community Centre supported by Volunteer Nelson

Free, fun & accessible whānau activities & a sausage sizzle from 5pm – 7pm on Friday evenings in Victory Square. A team of volunteers supported by a VCC Staff member facilitate activities & ensure safety of the tamariki coming along. Some time is needed before & after for set up/pack down. During the event we need help with welcoming people to the session, starting games & activities, keeping an eye on equipment & helping with the BBQ! We need a team 5 people to make these fun events happen.

Victory Community Centre (VCC) is a Community Centre located in Whakatū Nelson’s multicultural Victory Village. We offer a range of health services, a large programme of activities and events, advocacy and support for community members & a place to gather and meet other people. Our vision is that Victory is a thriving and caring community of health, hope and possibility.
