Event Director - Queenstown parkrun
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a volunteer Event Director to come on board to help facilitate the delivery of Queenstown parkrun in this rewarding role.
A parkrun Event Director acts as a guardian/custodian for a parkrun event, with their primary focus being the simple, safe and sustainable delivery of a weekly event with respect for the parkrun rules.
In many cases, two people working as Co-Event Directors may collaborate to share the role and responsibilities.
As part of parkrun Asia Pacific's event support framework, the Event Director for Queenstown parkrun is supported by:
- a volunteer Event Ambassador,
- a volunteer Regional Event Ambassador,
- parkrun Asia Pacific's New Zealand Country Manager, and;
- the parkrun Asia Pacific Operations team.
