Join Earth Action Trust as a Team Up 2 Clean Up – Event Lead Volunteer!

Are you confident speaking in public, organised, and passionate about the environment? Earth Action Trust is looking for a dedicated Event Lead Volunteer to help deliver our Team Up 2 Clean Up events — now in our 4th successful year across Auckland.
You’ll start by shadowing our current Event Leader and gradually take the lead. You’ll work with a small, supportive team, with the autonomy to run events while receiving full training and guidance.
As an Event Lead, you will:
🎤 Welcome and guide participants during the clean-up
✅ Deliver health & safety briefings clearly
🌱 Facilitate group activities, including Q&A and reflections
🧤 Guide volunteers through waste sorting and support group coordination
♻️ Promote environmental awareness and sustainability practices
📸 Capture and share event highlights with the team
🤝 Represent EAT with respect for Māori and ethnic community values

Time Commitment:
🗓 Weekend availability (events run for 2 hours fortnight basis)
💻 Evening online meetings (pre -event)
🕒 Flexible hours with full support and training
🚗 Petrol reimbursement provided
