Member Engagement Volunteer

Help make a difference for people living with ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, and Long COVID!

CCI Support is New Zealand’s largest social support service for people living with ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, and Long COVID. We provide compassionate, practical, and emotional support to help our members live well within their circumstances.

We’re looking for a caring and reliable Member Engagement Volunteer to join our team. This is a vital role that helps ensure our members feel welcomed, valued, and connected during their first 90 days with us.

You’ll be the friendly voice and helping hand behind gentle follow-ups and wellness check-ins — making sure no one slips through the cracks.

What You’ll Do

Gently follow up with new members who haven’t yet completed forms or booked appointments (by email, text, or phone).

Assist members to access online groups, meetings, and resources.

Support our Facilitators by tracking engagement progress in Infoodle (our client management system).

Help maintain connection and ensure members feel cared for and supported.

What We’re Looking For

A kind, patient communicator who genuinely cares about others.

Confident using email, phone, and simple online tools (training provided).

Able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Empathetic, reliable, and comfortable communicating with people who may be unwell.
