The Greater Hornby Residents Association is building a volunteer database for people who are happy to be contacted about helping at future community events such as discos, fun days, and other community activities.
Volunteers may be offered a range of simple, enjoyable roles depending on the event — assisting GHRA members, supervising activities, helping families, supporting event areas, or keeping the grounds tidy. You can choose which events you’d like to help with, and there’s no obligation to be available every time.
All we ask is reliability — if you put your name down for an event, we simply appreciate that you attend as planned.
If you enjoy community events, like having fun whilst volunteering and want to support local families in a flexible way, we’d love to add you to our volunteer database. Guidance and support will be provided at each event.
